October - and still dryfly
This month midges, bibioes and other two-wings are the main hatches
and the reason for rising graylings. The hatches and the rises may last
all day long, and even a bit after sunset. An actual fly:

My 11. choice among the 12 flies I use
Tying/Materials:
- Hook:Partridge GRS3A/L3A, size # 16-22
- Tread:Black flymaster 6/0
- Tale:Some black cockhacklefibres
- Body:Sparingly dubbed black Fly-Rite
- Wing:Small amount of white polyyarn. Tyed in nearly as a roof.
- Frontbody:a bit thicker than the rest.
- Hackle:Black cockhackle, tied around the hook.
